The 2024-2025 Transportation Registration Form will open on Monday, April 15, and close on Friday, June 14. CLASS OF 2025 - SUMMER WORK
Dear Parents,
As the school year has concluded, we wanted to inform you we have assigned summer homework for all students rising into their final and Senior year. Classes during 12th grade are taught at a college-level, so it is important that students prepare for this rigor by completing their assignments.
We kindly ask for your support in ensuring your child completes their work and reading without distractions, particularly their phone, so they can focus and practice essential skills for their senior year and college readiness. These are assignments that they can start today.
All homework assignments can be found on the Class of 2025 - Seniors page on Schoology.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Best,

SUMMER MEALS RESOURCE
When school cafeterias close for summer, Texas families can still access no-cost meals!
Children 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21 in low-income areas can eat healthy meals funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Summer Meal Programs. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) partners with food assistance organizations, schools, and other nonprofits to make these meals available at sites across Texas. TDA provides free promotional materials which can be ordered below. Promotional materials include bookmarks, parent info cards, door hangers, indoor and outdoor signage as well as downloadable digital resources.
Sites serving summer meals start opening around June 1. To find the nearest site, families have the following three options:
Dial 211 to speak to a live operator
Visit www.SummerFood.org for an interactive site locator map
Text FOOD to 304-304
*Please note the texting service will be available starting late May/early June.
In addition to finding a site, it is important for families to use these tools frequently to confirm dates and times and get more information about how meals will be served. Families are encouraged to call, text, or go online, and connect with meal sites from June 1-August 30 to access healthy meals for young Texans.
Please feel free to share this email and thanks for helping to increase access to this free federal nutrition program over the summer.
